HOUSTON, TX - New Imprint, Sound Dogo, is happy to announce the release of Jay Maze's new Single "WRATH" from his forthcoming album. Maze's style can best be described as conscious meets street, with a sprinkling of old school East Coast-style thrown in. With a swag unlike most and a comparison in stature and flow similar to that of Biggie Smalls, Jay Maze could quickly become the first rapper that could be seen as the "Biggie of the South".
Growing up on Houston's Northside saw Jay immersed in an environment that lent to the true grit and street-smarts within his lyrical style. His music is about the struggle of growing up in the hood while in the same breath staying vigilant and conscious to the ills of this world that so many fall victim to. His lyrical style, delivery, and music do not sound like what one would associate with "the Houston sound". Maze is one of the few who really stand out among the rest, making you turn your head to the sound of his bangin' beats (produced by beat-magician Rokmore) and his poignant lyrical delivery.
Be sure to keep an ear to the ground for Jay Maze's upcoming release date for his full-length album due to drop before the year's end. Sound Dogo, has a lot more to come as well, so stay tuned to their social media for updates and details on all their future projects.
