The production duo of Kay (of The Foundation) and King Mason - better known as "The King & I", were the masterminds behind the music on this project. Crafting a beautiful blend of original bass lines and other live instrumentation, "TGDY" steps into a different realm for Yohana. The music insights some true introspection through his wordplay. The best representation of this is from the single, "Deeper Than Rap". Yohana speaks on the hardships of family life (and life in general), using these elements to show the listener that his fire inside for making art is rooted in something real and goes far beyond a desire to "be a famous rapper".
The King & I is a new record label hailing out of Houston, TX. and Jax's new record is their first release. You can check out all things "The King & I" here.
